NCC Bangladesh keep working for the humanity and peace making.so we always have that passion to extend our helping hand for these helpless rohingya communities. As the winter is approaching, these huge number of people will surely going to confront difficulties as they are in very much need of winter clothes. The weather is very much unpredictable on that part of Bangladesh and it can get worse in time. So this was our small attempt to serve some warm blanket to this community from the leda camp which is situated in teknaf, coxsbazar, dated on 7th November, 2017.Although this was a very little attempt considering the mass need but still we believe that our small effort of love can bring some comfort for these helpless people.
We would not be able to conduct this great attempt without the helping hand from NCC Korea who have funded this initiative. We appreciates much their kindness and concern about these helpless communities. We are very much grateful to them for their enormous support and also hopeful to work with NCC Korea in the near future.
Our gratitude goes to our member Churches especially, Bangladesh Bawm Tribal Baptist Church, Bangladesh Christian Church and Believers Church as they have cooperated us in this initiative also, specially mentioning, women from these Churches have knitted this blanket themselves with so much love and effort. This has also served some other purposes such as women empowerment among the ethnic women from those member Churches. Their hard work and sacrifices is much valued and through this initiative another purpose of serving the ethnic Churches is fulfilled. We are thankful to them for their determination and helping hands.
