The event featured insightful sessions led by esteemed speakers, each addressing critical aspects of church resource management and community engagement.Internal Resources of the Church: Strengthening for Contemporary Witness: Challenges and Overcoming Steps - Bishop Dr. Simon R. Biswas shared valuable insights into identifying and mobilizing internal resources for effective ministry. External Resources of the Church: Effective Strengthening for Contemporary Witness: Challenges and Overcoming Steps - Bishop Shourabh Pholia discussed strategies for leveraging external resources to enhance the church's impact in the community. Ecumenical Way Forwarding Resources for Contemporary Witness - Rev. David A. Das emphasized the importance of collaboration among churches to share resources and strengthen collective witness. The Role of Technology and Digitalization for Enhancing Resource Mobilization in the Church - Charles Amit Francis explored how digital tools and platforms can transform resource mobilization efforts.
A Free Medical Camp was successfully held on 26th November 2024 in Hobigonj, Sylhet. Organized by the Department of Medical Services, NCCB, CMAB, and Bangladesh Methodist Church, bringing healthcare to the heart of the community.
The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women will mark the launch of the UNiTE campaign (Nov 25- Dec 10) — an initiative of 16 days of activism concluding on the day that commemorates the International Human Rights Day (10 December).This 2024 campaign Every 10 Minutes, a woman is killed. #noexcuse. UNiTE to End Violence against Women will draw attention to the alarming escalation of violence against women to revitalize commitments, call for accountability and action from decision-makers.
